Spring Rejuvenation
A 4-Part Full Body Cellular Cleanse and Deep Nourishment Program
4 Thurs, May 3, 10, 17, and 24
Good health depends on our ability to get nutrients into our cells as we release metabolic waste and toxins from our bodies. When we are dealing with long-term or recurring digestive disorders, poor sleep, chronic pain, brain fog, auto-immune conditions, or daily exhaustion, our bodies loose the ability to digest, absorb and assimilate the foods we eat, even when we eat a healthy diet.
If you have been experiencing compromised health for months or years, and you are ready to feel better, this is the program for you. You will learn to use many local, wholesome foods and safe, nourishing herbal remedies to restore your body’s ability to receive nutrients to the very cells, organs and body systems that have been causing your long, slow decline in health. If you have food allergies or sensitivities, diagnosed or not, you will likely find that they’ll be reduced in frequency and severity, or they may even go away altogether as you experience the benefits of a well designed cleanse program. That will depend on a variety of factors within your health history and the nature of the wellness plan you choose to commit to.
Now, this is not a fasting program! We will eat real, delicious, wholesome, nourishing food, often organic and locally grown. We will participate together in purifying away the buildup of toxins and impurities that have been accumulating in your body and mind over time. Toxins in your organs, tissues and cells, like the stuff in our arteries that can cause high blood pressure, will be released, and you’ll feel great, lighter and more agile. You’ll feel the support of the group as you practice your own personalized nourishing cleanse program. You will likely begin to feel considerably better right away!
Each of us will have an individualized plan to fit with our particular health needs and wellness goals. Using the information you receive in the classes, we will work together to create an eating plan that will optimize your health. You will have the option of using only healing foods, or you may prefer to add cleansing herbal products to increase the pace of your detoxification. You may choose to purchase your cellular full-body cleanse program from me, pick one up at your favorite co-op, or buy one online. It is absolutely up to you.
Your rejuvenative wellness program will help you increase your energy and vitality as you reduce pain and discomforts. Feel a difference with the symptoms of allergies, asthma, problem skin and scalp, arthritis, irritable bowel, PMS, menopause, blood pressure problems, bad cholesterol, and so much more.
I will provide dinner each week at class. With each session, we’ll gather at 5:30 to share a delicious meal of nourishing, organic foods that I have prepared especially for you and with a focus on foods to support the topic that we’ll discuss. And then at promptly 6:00, we will begin the talk, delving deeply into the following topics:
Session 1: Opening the Seven Channels of Elimination
Session 2: Supporting Digestion, the Foundation of Vibrant Health
Session 3: Detoxification of Candida and Parasites to Improve Vitality
Session 4: Cleansing Away Heavy Metals and Chemical Toxins for Disease Prevention
We will meet on 4 Thursdays in May, beginning on May 3rd, then again on the 10th, 17th and 24th. Dinner and social time will be available at 5:30 until 6:00; the class will begin promptly at 6:00, and run to 8:30 pm. There will be time for questions from 8:30 to 9:00. Please join us and begin your journey toward feeling better soon.
The cost of this 4-part Program is $159. If you register with a friend or loved one, and pay in advance (by 9:00 pm on Wednesday, May 2), save $40. Pay just $139 each. All previous participants pay 1/2 price ($79.50) for life! Cost includes 4 informative classes, 4 vegetarian meals, all printed materials, and the information you need for a lifetime of improved health. info@wisdomofhealing.com

Introduction to Women’s Hormonal Health
Wed, May 9
Women go through dozens of normal hormonal fluctuations throughout life. Ideally, these would be comfortable experiences, without pain and discomfort. But too often these days, hormonal imbalances can occur. Hormonal imbalances may show up in our lives at any time from girlhood to our elder years.
The endocrine system is a series of glands that control and regulate many of our human systems and functions, from metabolism, energy levels and reproduction to mood, tissue function, growth and development. When we feel chronically ‘out of sorts’, such as with blood sugar issues, bone loss, low energy or exhaustion, it is likely that our endocrine system is out of balance.
Girls and women of all ages can benefit from restoring the vital glands and associated organs of the endocrine system. With the volume of hormone-disrupting chemicals in our daily lives, it is not easy to remain in balance. Good news; there are a number of nourishing foods, often locally grown, and a variety of safe herbal remedies that can help girls and women, from childhood and throughout our lives, that we can turn to when we feel the need to restore the harmony and balance of our endocrine system.
In this important talk, you will learn about holistic solutions for imbalances including mood, sleep, weight, blood sugar, dry or oily skin, PMS, menopause and more. Bring your daughters. They will thank you for years to come!
The talk will take place in a private location in downtown Brattleboro, on Wednesday, May 9, beginning promptly at 6:00 pm, and will run until 7:30, with time for questions until 8:00. Space is limited, so please pre-register, write: info@wisdomofhealing.com A $10–15 fee is requested. Girls, age 6 to 13, are free with an adult.

Introduction to Herbal Medicine- Harvest, Formulation & Product Making
Sat, May 12 (11:00 am – 2:30 pm)
Herbal medicine is a popular solution to many health concerns. It is a satisfying practice when we grow our own medicinal plants or find them in the wild, and then harvest, process and create soothing, nourishing herbal products. When you learn to make them correctly, they can support your family’s wellness for years to come. And the experience feels great for all concerned.
Herbs and medicinal foods support us in so many ways. They can keep us in good health, help us prevent becoming sick, slow the progression when we are coming down with an illness, and heal us once we’re diagnosed with a condition or disease. It is most important to know how to grow and process these valuable remedies in the proper ways.
I hope you will join us for this hands-on informative workshop where you will get to learn about growing, wildcrafting, harvesting and making a variety of herbal remedies that can support our skin, immune, cardiovascular, nervous and skeletal systems, and quite literally every cell in our bodies.
On Saturday, May 12, this experiential workshop will take place in a nearby field, and then in a private location in downtown Brattleboro where we will process what we harvest. We will begin promptly at 11:00 am, and will wrap up at 2:30 pm. Space is limited, so please pre-register. Write: info@wisdomofhealing.com A $35 admission fee is requested, along with a $10 materials fee to cover the cost of the products you will make yourself and take home with you.

Optimal Bone Health and Media Myths
Tues, May 22
You’ve probably been told by your doctor, friends, nutritionist, and the media that if you want to prevent osteoporosis and enjoy having healthy bones into your elder years, just drink lots of milk and take calcium supplements. But the real research tells a very different story. Most dairy products, and nearly all calcium supplements can contribute to worsening your bone health. That’s right! Several reliable long-term studies have shown that most calcium supplements and drinking two or more glasses of milk daily can actually aggravate and worsen osteoporosis, fractures and joint pain.
Now, everyone really can enjoy healthy, strong bones that last a lifetime. Yet many of us don’t for a variety of reasons, including endocrine imbalances, digestive problems, and a diet lacking in the right foods. Even if you have been diagnosed with osteoporosis or osteopenia, you can turn it around and restore good bone health by making the right choices, starting now.
This valuable and informative workshop will give you some real answers and dispel many myths about good bone and joint health. Learn to choose and prepare nourishing foods that will re-mineralize your bones and teeth. Find out which supplements really do work for excess inflammation of knees, hips and all your joints, and the many ways you can improve bone strength and flexibility, beginning today!
This talk is being offered in a private office in downtown Brattleboro on Tuesday, May 22. We will begin promptly at 6:00 pm, and the talk will run until 7:30, with time for questions until 8:00. Space is limited, so please pre-register today. A $10–15 fee is requested. Please write to info@wisdomofhealing.com.

Breathe Free!
Natural Solutions for Spring Allergies, Asthma, and Breathing Difficulties
Thurs, June 14
The evidence is in; this year’s allergies and breathing difficulties are increasing for many people, from children to elders. This is possibly due to the effects of a mild winter and the early warm spring weather. But that’s not all. New chemicals are being used on our commercial food crops, cotton fields and other midwestern farmland. And the air currents move that polluted air our way.
If you or your loved ones are suffering with allergies, asthma, what is now referred to as C.O.P.D., and other breathing difficulties, and you would like to learn about safe, holistic options for improving your breathing, lungs and sinus health, this talk is for you. I will help you to understand how to use delicious, nourishing, healing foods and herbal remedies to find immediate relief, and to strengthen your respiratory and immune systems. You can begin to find long term solutions so you may heal your own body. This may help you reduce your dependence on potentially harmful medications that you currently need to help you breathe.
The talk will take place in a private location in downtown Brattleboro, on Thursday, June 14, beginning promptly at 6:00 pm, and will run until 7:30, with time for questions until 8:00. Space is limited, so please pre-register, write: info@wisdomofhealing.com A $10–15 fee is requested.
