Every parent wants more for their child, but some parents of children with autism, ADHD, and other brain conditions have become resigned to their child’s “fate.” What they may not know is that there is great hope attainable from some simple steps that can be implemented.
Certainly every child (and adult) is unique, with his or her very own set of challenges, abilities, afflictions, sensitivities, symptoms and coping strategies. Unique, too, is an individual’s optimal plan for their healing; there is not a single plan that seems to work for everyone and with every diagnosis. That said, there are certain foods, herbal remedies and lifestyle support strategies that seem to help each and every child and adult with ADHD, OCD, bi-polar, on the autism spectrum, or the various other brain-nerve conditions that I have had the pleasure to work with. Virtually all children with brain and nerve conditions, diagnosed or not, can heal to some great extent, and with help, using an integrated approach including a wholesome diet and a nurturing lifestyle, I've seen what could only be described as miracles, in hundreds of children. As Montana Burr, a fourteen year old who is healing himself from autism, says on his website, "Just keep in mind that recovery is a marathon, not a sprint." Please join us to see how you can create a healing plan for the ones in your life who may experience autism, ADHD, OCD, or the myriad of other brain and nerve conditions that so many children contend with in our hectic, toxin laden, modern day society. I will provide several more dates and locations between now and when the snow flies.
Be the first on your block to experience forest bathing, and rejuvenate your soul! No swimsuit necessary--this is a dry activity!
We will retreat into nature for only a couple hours, blending mindfulness with connecting with the Earth and her bountiful gifts, yet the benefits for our health will be numerous. In this short amount of time, we'll really slow down to feel the ground beneath our feet, and use our senses to tune out hectic life in the city and tune into the sounds, sights, aromas, tastes, textures and feel of all that is around us. The practice of natural immersion known as forest bathing began in Japan in the 1980's, and has been shown to have rejuvenating effects. Research indicates that many health benefits can be gleaned from forest bathing in this way. There is evidence that it can help reduce excess stress, lift the mood, boost immunity, and lower blood pressure. Join us to experience nature in a whole new way, and really feel the comfort of deep relaxation that only a nature and forest experience can provide. |

Spring Cleanse Your Body & Mind for Optimal Health

Natural Food Exchange, 343 Main St, Reading, MA
Natural Food Exchange, 343 Main St, Reading, MA
Are you ready to experience optimal health and vitality, and prevent illness and disease?
Join us for this powerful talk about how to use healing foods and nature's bounty of herbal remedies to detoxify your mind and body to create vibrant health! You'll learn to clear away the toxins, heavy metals and other impurities that accumulate in the body and can cause pain, exhaustion, brain fog, disturbed sleep, and chronic disease. Cleanse and purify your digestive tract, brain, nerves, skin, heart and all your internal organs. There are several safe methods and products to accomplish this, but too often we follow the latest fad that may help in the short-term, but actually can make us feel worse in the long run. Done right, cleansing the body and mind can support balance and harmony, helping you to wake up refreshed, feel clear and energized throughout your day, and sleep deeply at night, the time when we become rejuvenated and restored. If you're tired of feeling tired, or sick of always getting sick, feeling run down, drained and fragile, emotionally on edge, not sleeping well, nor long enough or deeply enough to feel rejuvenated, then may I suggest you begin the ancient practice of spring (and autumn) cleansing of the organs, tissues and cells of the body and mind! Cindy Hebbard, Master Herbalist, has over 30 years of experience with a variety of cellular cleanse programs. She'll provide a wealth of information so you can distinguish which programs work well for your needs and which can actually do our bodies harm. She'll share her years of wisdom and experience with you, so you don't have to feel bad while attempting to feel better. |
